Tampa to Dallas to Narita to Hanoi on American Airlines/Japan Airlines. Roughly 23 hours in the air for the total trip, but Business Class is worth every penny. The food on JAL is outstanding.
I spent 5 days in Hanoi this time around. I love Hanoi. It's just crowded enough to be crazy, but the great French architecture in the Old Quarter and the French Quarter, the ease of getting around and the fantastic street food make it a place that you could visit again and again without it getting old.
